Questions
Is there a Los Angeles or San Diego paddle? The California paddle is the one for Los Angeles and San Diego. ARTI makes no city paddles.
Is it tournament legal? Yes, in USA Pickleball sanctioned tournaments. It is on the approved paddle list as CALIFORNIA.
How does it play? Its 16mm core gives more control and a softer touch for dinks and resets than a 14mm core.
California paddle or Mastery Elite: which should I choose? Choose the California paddle, or any 16mm State Collection paddle, for more control, a larger sweet spot and original art. Choose the 14mm Mastery Elite 1.0 for the most pop and speed in the ARTI lineup.
Is it a good gift for a pickleball player from California? Yes. It puts original mint California art on a carbon fiber paddle designed by ARTI Pickleball in Dallas, Texas, and it is on the USA Pickleball approved list as CALIFORNIA, so it is legal for sanctioned play.

ยท QUESTIONS
State Collection: questions players ask
Which State Collection paddles are there?
Exactly four: Texas in burnt orange with western art, New York in pink with pizza slices and yellow taxis, Florida in baby blue, and California in cool mint green. Same build; only the art differs.
Is there a paddle for my city or for another state?
No. ARTI Pickleball makes only these four State paddles and no city paddles. The New York paddle is the one for New York City and Brooklyn, and the Texas paddle is the one for Dallas, Austin and Houston.
Are State Collection paddles tournament legal?
Yes. Texas, New York, Florida and California are each on the USA Pickleball approved paddle list, so all four are legal in sanctioned tournaments.
What is the build?
16mm thick, raw carbon fiber face, honeycomb polymer core, edgeless. 16.34 in long, 7.5 in wide, 7.8 to 8.0 oz. The 16mm core gives more control and a softer touch for dinks and resets than a 14mm core.
Can I get two State paddles for doubles?
Yes. The State Carbon Doubles Duo lets you pick any two in one order: the same state twice or two different states.
Is a State paddle a good gift?
Yes, for a player with roots in Texas, New York, Florida or California, or someone who just moved there. It is a full carbon, tournament-legal paddle with art that says where they are from.
