REFUND & RETURN POLICY

Return window: 30 days
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date your order was marked “delivered” to request a return.
After 30 days, we generally cannot offer a refund or exchange unless there is a confirmed manufacturing defect that is covered under our Warranty Policy.
2. Condition of Returned Items
To qualify for a refund or exchange:
- 
Items must be in clean, resellable condition. 
- 
Paddles must not be heavily used, cracked, abused, or structurally altered. Light court wear from normal testing is OK; severe damage, intentional abuse, or modification is not. 
- 
Apparel and accessories must be unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags/packaging. 
- 
Bundles / sets must be returned as a complete set. 
Items that show obvious misuse, intentional damage, or abuse will not be accepted.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded (unless we clearly shipped you the wrong item):
- 
Pickleball balls (consumable items; no returns) 
- 
Custom, personalized, or special-order items 
- 
Gift cards 
- 
Clearance / “final sale” items 
- 
Consumables that cannot be restocked for hygiene/safety reasons if opened 
If something arrives damaged or incorrect, see Section 6 below — that is handled separately.
4. How to Start a Return
To start a return within 30 days, email us at hello@playwitharti.com with:
- 
Your name 
- 
Order number 
- 
The item(s) you want to return 
- 
The reason you’re returning 
 We’ll reply with next steps, including where to ship the item(s).
 Please do not ship anything back without contacting us first. Unannounced returns may not be processed correctly.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, confirmed defect within warranty, etc.), you are responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and keeping the tracking receipt.
If we are at fault, we will either provide a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable return shipping.
6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you received an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Please include photos and a brief description of the issue.
We will evaluate the claim.

If we confirm that the product was defective or incorrect, we will repair, replace, or refund it (at our discretion) at no additional cost to you. 
- 
Normal surface wear, cosmetic scuffs from regular play, and performance changes from regular use are not considered defects — especially for consumables like balls. 
7. Exchanges
If you want to exchange for a different color, style, or model and the item is still within the 30-day window and in acceptable condition, we’ll do our best to swap it.
If the requested replacement is out of stock, we may offer store credit or a refund instead.
Pickleball balls and other final-sale items are not eligible for exchange.
8. Refund Timing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know if it’s approved.
- 
If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method. 
- 
Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take several business days after we process it for the credit to appear. 
 We reserve the right to offer store credit instead of a refund in certain situations, for example if the item is not in brand-new condition but is still usable.
9. Gifts
If you received the item as a gift:
- 
If you’re approved for a return, we can issue store credit to you instead of refunding the original purchaser. 
- 
We may still need the original order number or proof of purchase to process it. 
10. Proof of Purchase
We require proof of purchase (order number, confirmation email, or receipt) for all returns, exchanges, warranty evaluations, and defect claims. We cannot process returns without proof of purchase.
