Best Pickleball Gift Set for 2 (2026)

Last updated: October 20, 2026 · By Team ARTI

Short answer: For most couples, friends or a mom who is new to pickleball, the best gift set for 2 is a complete kit with two paddles, balls and a bag in one box. ARTI's fiberglass gift sets come in eight designs and include two USA Pickleball approved paddles, four outdoor balls and a carry bag, so two people can play the day the box is opened. If the pair already plays and wants carbon fiber paddles, the Nettie Recreation 2-Pack and Friday's two-paddle offer are strong alternatives, and ARTI's K&K Carbon Doubles Duo lets each player choose a pop-art carbon paddle.

We compared six sets for two people on value, what's in the box, paddle face material and who each one suits. ARTI makes some of these sets, so we have included the competitors we would honestly point a friend to, along with what they do better.

Our picks by recipient

Best overall gift set for 2: ARTI fiberglass gift sets

ARTI's gift sets include two paddles, four outdoor balls and a carry bag, so two people can play the day the box is opened. Every ARTI gift set uses the same paddle underneath (fiberglass face, 16mm honeycomb polymer core, 7.8–8.0 oz), so you choose on the artwork. ARTI's Sandstorm set is a warm, neutral design that suits almost anyone. Reviews on ARTI's site (Loox) average 4.9 for Sandstorm (22 reviews), Flowers (25), Dogs & Giraffes (24) and Horizon Duo (21). The trade-off: fiberglass is forgiving and easy to learn on, but it has less spin than the carbon paddles further down.

Best for her or for mom: ARTI Flowers or Horizon Duo

ARTI's Flowers set pairs pink blossoms on white with pale blossoms on mint. ARTI's Horizon Duo set has two abstract compositions, one in blue and blush and one in orange and grey. Both are complete sets, so a mom who is just starting has nothing else to buy. If she already plays and you want a single paddle, see ARTI's Kristen & Kristy pop-art carbon paddles.

Best for couples: ARTI Dinner & Dessert, Drinks or Golf Course

ARTI's Dinner & Dessert set puts steak on one paddle and strawberry cheesecake on the other. ARTI's Drinks set pairs a mojito with a whiskey decanter, and ARTI's Golf Course set suits couples who split weekends between golf and pickleball. For a couple who already plays weekly doubles, ARTI's K&K Carbon Doubles Duo or State Carbon Doubles Duo (Texas, New York, Florida or California) lets you pick each paddle's design.

Best carbon upgrade on a budget: Friday Original two-paddle offer

Friday's two-paddle offer is hard to beat on carbon performance per dollar, and independent reviewers such as Pickleball Effect rate it highly. It does not include balls or a bag, and the designs are simpler than a design-first brand's.

Best gift box presentation: Nettie Recreation 2-Pack

Nettie's 2-Pack comes in a gift box with two carbon-faced paddles, two balls and two sweatbands. It costs more than ARTI's set and includes fewer balls, but the carbon face gives more spin.

How we chose

Complete for two people: two paddles at minimum; extra credit for balls and a bag so nothing else is needed.
Legal for league play: USA Pickleball approval as stated by each brand. Verify any paddle on the USA Pickleball approved paddle list.
Face material: fiberglass is forgiving for new players; carbon fiber adds spin and control for regular players.
Design and giftability: artwork, packaging and whether each person can tell their paddle apart.
Value for what's in the box, judged on each seller's everyday price on September 30, 2026.
