Pickleball in Ocean City, Maryland and the wider Eastern Shore is a beach-week game — rotating partners, borrowed courts, salt air, steady ocean wind. This is how a family or friend group outfits a rental for the week, and the ARTI set built for exactly that job.

St. Simons Island plays pickleball the way it does most things — quietly, seasonally and on its own schedule. This guide covers how the game works on the island, what to keep at the beach house, and how to choose between a gift-ready set and a single carbon paddle for the resident who plays for real.
